COORDINATION was commissioned by a private client to fit out a 440 sqm penthouse apartment located on the 21st floor of a newly built residential project in Almaty by American architecture office SOM.

The initial brief included developing the built-in and loose furniture packages and defining wall treatments as well as the entertainment system. Later it was extended to include the lighting concept, sourcing of design editions, art buying and the complete accessories fit-out including custom decorated KPM Porcelain.

Special features are the large custom designed 3,60 m dining table and the elegant hideaway TV solution in the living room.

The design edition selection contain pieces by Zaha Hadid, Marianne Brandt, Pieke Bergmanns, William Sawaya and Joseph Hoffmann. Art pieces are by Shahryar Nashat, Isa Genzken, Franz West and Nairy Baghramian among others.
