The surprisingly contrasting colour scheme of the individual rooms originates in selected works of art from different styles and eras, which become the central eye-catcher of each room. In the working and dining area, for example, there is an impressive oil painting from the 17th century, whose dark tones are reflected in the open-plan kitchen designed by COORDINATION, and at the same time form an exciting contrast to the custom-made furniture fixtures. These include the generous oval Dining Table, which also functions as a work table, and the matching Round Shelf made of white ash and steel. In terms of design, both pieces of furniture borrow from stylistic elements of Art Decó and the modernism of the 1960s.

In the private area of the flat, the colour choice is inspired by a moving Pietà painting from the 18th century. The colour-harmonising, ceiling-high wall cabinet offers ample storage space while leaving a niche for the piano. The custom-made oval Toussaint shelf is in the same unobtrusive style as the furniture fixtures in the open-plan dining and study area and provides space for beloved collectibles. The bedroom, including bathroom and balcony as well as walk-in wardrobe, is decorated in soft blue tones that correspond with the maritime paintings and lend a relaxed atmosphere to this private area of the flat.

With the penthouse in Berlin's City West, COORDINATION has completed another private residential project. Thanks to the targeted interior design interventions, the result is a light and clearly structured flat that invites you to work and linger. COORDINATION develops a well thought-out, individual design concept and with this project once again demonstrates its holistic design approach as well as its sensitivity for colour and holistic aesthetic spatial concepts.
