Pop-up stores in European Capitals
Under the slogan “Pop into Berlin”, five pop-up stores were opened in five European cities to present the German capital as a creative, innovative and liveable metropolis.
The stores in best inner-city locations of Stockholm, London, Vienna, Amsterdam and Paris presented selected design products and Start-ups from Berlin for one week at a time.

Under the slogan “Pop into Berlin”, five pop-up stores were opened in eight European cities to present the German capital as a creative, innovative and liveable metropolis.
The stores in best inner-city locations of Stockholm, London, Vienna, Amsterdam, Paris, Warsaw, Madris and Zurich presented selected design products and Start-ups from Berlin for one week at a time.
Commissioned by “visitBerlin” and “be Berlin”, COORDINATION Berlin developed the design concept of the stores and the corporate identity of the pop-up tour.
The key visual and the communication based on this, together built a concise appearance over all channels of communication on posters, flyers, online media and shop displays and guaranteed best possible recognizability.
The design of the stores should be inexpensive and easy to handle and was also supposed to be uncomplicated with an almost raw look, which is typical for Berlin.
We chose a system of reuseable display units made of card board and modules of plywood that serve as a stage for the exhibited Berlin products.
The design concept is comprised of a variety of functional areas in the store such as reception, lounge, coffee bar or instagram gallery and secures a round the clock use of these unique temporary event locations.
